Lampshades made the sustainable way

  • Patterned Paper

My lampshade collection is full of repeat patterns inspired by geometrics and natural forms. Some designs are litho printed using vibrant vegetable based inks onto FSC certified matt paper whilst others are block printed onto smooth natural Lokta Washi paper, giving them a more rustic finish.

Cotton trims in complementary colours are bound around the edges of the shade.

I’m constantly sourcing vintage, Italian and Indian papers which I also add to my collection.

  • Lampshade shapes and sizes

I currently offer a range of four sizes, but larger shades can be made to order. I would love to collaborate with you to achieve the perfect size lampshade for your lamp base or wall fitting.

For details on how to size your shade head to my sizes and fittings page. If you are stuck with the sizing of your lampshade, feel free to email me with any queries that you may have.

Paper Lampshades full of personality

Upcycle your old lampshade

Do you already have a lampshade that works perfectly with your lamp base, but would like a refresh? Why not send me the existing shade rings and I can upcycle them, creating a new and updated look back into your room.

I can not only make lampshades in patterned paper, but also in raffia and plain or patterned fabric.

It’s probably best if you send me an email so we can talk lampshades, textiles, paper, patterns, colour… you name it!

  • Draw

Sketchbooks filled with inspiration from natural forms and geometrics are the starting point for my repeat designs.

  • Print

Hand carved block printing and litho techniques are used to print the design onto Lokta Washi papers.

  • Make

Printed papers are wrapped around lampshade frames and bound in matching or contrasting trims.

Enjoy the personality of your lampshade made with love and let it enhance your home.
